Max - Your thoughts are always helpful. In your response to Richard D you indicate that your slide was as you describe 'battered' looking. Could you possibly post a picture of this? What may be battered to you might be entirely different to me. Also you make no mention as to the condition of your diaphram. This would be enormously helpful. I uncovered a web site some time ago that I am trying to relocate that suggested muffler balance with the intake as the culprit here. Thanks, Rich
